Dovi (Dialog One Video Interpreter) for language and cultural mediation provides the experience of an on-site cultural mediator/interpreter at a lower cost. Video conference language interpretation improves communication, creates a visual context and expands the number of languages available. For the customer who wants a more personal experience than over the phone, but does not want to pay for on-site services, Dovi is for you.

How it works?

Dovi has a simple online procurement tool that allows clients to schedule their video cultural mediation/interpretation session using secure login credentials. Dialog One Service Representatives coordinate and send a confirmation email with the link to the virtual room for the interpretation session and enable access to available languages. The customer clicks on the link using their own computer hardware with a webcam and USB speakerphone. Once the session begins, an interpreter will be standing by ready to take the instructions. The entire connection between the interpreter and the client is secure using 128bit encryption.

What is required?

No expensive computer hardware or network investment is needed to connect to the Dovi solution. The customer provides a computer, HD web camera, USB speakerphone & a public internet connection. It is PC or Mac compatible that requires a small software file (provided by Dialog One) to be installed on each computer that will utilize Dovi. Since the Dovi solution is based on advanced video software, it is designed to efficiently operate over the public internet.
